How to Add Bots to Discord Server Mobile

In today’s digital world, Discord has become one of the most popular platforms for communication, especially among gamers and communities. Discord servers offer a wide range of functionalities, and one of the most exciting aspects is the ability to add bots. Bots can automate tasks, provide entertainment, and enhance the overall experience of a Discord server. In this article, we will guide you through the process of adding bots to your Discord server on mobile devices.

Step 1: Open Discord on Your Mobile Device

The first step to adding bots to your Discord server on mobile is to open the Discord app on your smartphone or tablet. If you haven’t already downloaded the app, you can find it on the Google Play Store for Android devices or the Apple App Store for iOS devices.

Step 2: Navigate to Your Server

Once you have the Discord app open, you’ll need to navigate to the server where you want to add the bot. To do this, tap on the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) located at the top left corner of the screen. This will display a list of all your servers. Scroll through the list and tap on the server you want to add the bot to.

Step 3: Go to Server Settings

After entering the server, tap on the server name at the top of the screen to access the server settings. This will open a new menu with various options, including server settings, roles, permissions, and more. Tap on “Server Settings” to proceed.

Step 4: Navigate to Bots

In the server settings menu, scroll down and tap on the “Bots” tab. This tab will display all the bots currently on your server, as well as the option to add new bots.

Step 5: Add a Bot

To add a new bot, tap on the “+” button located at the top right corner of the screen. This will open a search bar where you can search for the bot you want to add. Type the name of the bot or browse through the list of available bots. Once you’ve found the bot you want, tap on it to select it.

Step 6: Invite the Bot to Your Server

After selecting the bot, you’ll be prompted to invite it to your server. Tap on the “Invite” button to proceed. You may need to grant the bot certain permissions to function properly. Review the permissions and tap “Invite” again to confirm.

Step 7: Copy the Invite Link

Once you’ve invited the bot, you’ll be provided with an invite link. Tap on the link and then tap “Copy” to save it to your clipboard.

Step 8: Paste the Invite Link in Your Browser

Open your mobile browser and paste the invite link into the address bar. This will take you to a webpage where you can authorize the bot to join your server.

Step 9: Authorize the Bot

On the webpage, you’ll see a list of permissions the bot requires. Review these permissions and tap “Authorize” to grant the bot access to your server.

Step 10: Confirm the Bot’s Addition

After authorizing the bot, you’ll be redirected back to the Discord app. You should now see the bot listed under the “Bots” tab in your server settings. The bot has been successfully added to your Discord server on mobile!

Congratulations! You have now learned how to add bots to your Discord server on mobile devices. With a wide range of bots available, you can enhance your server’s functionality and make it more enjoyable for all members. Happy Discording!
