Deleting photos on an iPhone is a straightforward process that can help you manage your device’s storage space and keep your gallery organized. Whether you want to remove a single photo or multiple images, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to delete photos on an iPhone.
1. Open the Photos App
To begin, locate and tap on the “Photos” app icon on your iPhone’s home screen. This app will display all your photos and videos in various albums, including “All Photos,” “Camera Roll,” and “Albums.”
2. Navigate to the Photo You Want to Delete
Scroll through your albums or use the search function to find the photo you want to delete. Once you’ve located the photo, tap on it to open it.
3. Delete the Photo
With the photo open, you’ll see a “Share” button (represented by a box with an arrow) at the bottom left corner of the screen. Tap on this button, and a menu will appear. Scroll down and tap on “Delete Photo.” You can also select multiple photos by tapping the “Select” button at the top left corner of the screen, then tapping on each photo you want to delete.
4. Confirm the Deletion
After selecting the photo(s) you want to delete, a confirmation prompt will appear. Tap “Delete Photo” to confirm the deletion. The photo will be moved to the “Recently Deleted” album, where it will remain for 30 days before being permanently deleted.
5. Empty the Recently Deleted Album
