Chromebooks come with built-in cameras, but sometimes, you might find that the camera is disabled or not working. Before you begin, make sure that your Chromebook is running the latest version of Chrome OS. To check for updates, go to Settings > About Chrome OS > Check for updates. If there are any available updates, download and install them before proceeding.

Step 1: Check Camera Settings

1. Click on the clock in the bottom-right corner of your screen to open the shelf.
